Happy Mothers Day

Just thinking a lot about my mom today. Not the best pictures but all I could find because I got Windows 7 and cant figure out how to find anything. These are 2008 pictures which say so much as you look closely at her carefully tended garden and her loving her family. I will probably kill these flowers I got at church within a week because I dont have a clue how to do what she could do, or have the time to do what she could do. I look back at these picts of her with Kately and I remember that after I certified for to be a Zumba instructor, I worked at Golds Gymn in St. George and she baby sat Kate for me for an hour, once a week. Kate loved it, she loved it, and Bill kept it all together for all of us. I am so glad that Kately had those years with her nannie and I am grateful for the good memories that I have of my mother. If your mom is still alive, love her. Let her be mad at you if she wants, do what she wants, even if she wants her floor vacuumed in the middle of the night, visit her often, ask her lots of questions about her, and let her talk.....you wont regret it.

Well, Its done.

Today was a big day for us. We finalized all the money and fought our last battle with Wells Fargo Bank and our flood is done.....(well till we get the letter in the mail about our new insurance rates) So now, finally, today, for a second, I feel like I can say that I am so glad its all over, I love love love my new house even though I will never get the boxes all unpacked, I'm ok with it. Thanks to everyone for the prayers, love, and food (Wendy) - please come anytime - Tara's graduation June 7th??? Any thoughts? (when is Amy's?)
Should have probably cleaned up before I took the picture but I came home and Keven was moving stuff in and I was like NOOOOO! I wanted to take pictures before all the boxes came in, but the crew wouldnt stop and wait, so ya get what ya get.
Well, it happend. Tara got asked to Sr. Ball by her dream date. Went to Sr. Ball with her dream date. Had an amazing day with her dream date......and then.....Won Prom Queen!! I didnt beleive her at first when she came home at 1am and told me but she said, "Mom, look at my crown!" Not that she couldnt win Sr. Ball Queen but I have always felt that because she was such a s
oftspoken, not worldly, hard working, straight A (nerd?), person that doesnt care what people think, that she would never win anything like that. But I am so glad that her friends regard her and think highly of her. I will miss her so very much and my heart aches to think of her leaving me. Who will raise Taner?
